| July 2013 News from Erie VFW Post 3925 Men’s Auxiliary The July 11th meeting went well with 13 enthusiastic members present The Lucky 100 is finishing up for this session with the $500 drawing on July 12th. Our next 10 week drawing will begin on Sept. 13th and run for 10 weeks. Contact Frank Connolly or Robin Terry for tickets. They go fast! We will be going to a Toledo Mudhens game on August 15th. There is a sig-up sheet in the Kennedy room. We have eight tickets, so first come first served. Also, we have received an offer from Toledo Speedway to use a Suite for the August 2nd race for free! A sign-up sheet for this is also on the board in the Kennedy Room. The annual Scholarships are coming up again. If you or your child or grandchild are going on to higher education, make sure you put in an application. Awards are $300 this year. There will be three names pulled from the hat. Applications are available and posted on the Kennedy Room bulletin board (or printed here) There are tentative plans to organize a Golf Scramble in late September, probably on the 28th. John Cousino is organizing it. Sounds like a good time. More to come. Please support this great activity. The Ladies Aux is planning a Card Night on August 23rd. See their newsletter for the details.
