News from Erie VFW Post 3925 Men’s Auxiliary

Our January 9th meeting was productive with 11 members present.

The current Lucky 100 drawing began on January 10th.  Terry Kemritz was our first
$100 winner.  Come on out on Friday nights and join in the fun!

We enrolled a new member this month: Al Hinz of Erie.  Please welcome him to the

Much discussion at the meeting was about the Post’s upcoming Muskrat Dinner.  We
are helping out with some of the funding.  Please come out and eat a rat, yummy.

We also talked about future fund-raising ideas, such as a large raffle or holding
breakfasts on selected Sundays.  There will be more to come on this.

Please note that January 12th, 2014 is the 10th Anniversary of our being chartered
by the State of Michigan. From our original Charter membership of 32, we have
grown to over 60 members. That we have grown and thrived for these ten years is
a major testament to you, our members’ work and participation. You should be
proud of what you have accomplished in support the Post, the Community and our

Dues for 2014 are now being collected.  Please see Frank Connolly, John Conley or
me to get current.  We will be sending a letter out to the members later this month.

If you know someone interested in joining the Auxiliary, there are application forms
in the Kennedy Room, or please see me or President John Conley.
