Men's Auxiliary Newsletter

News from Erie VFW Post 3925 Men’s Auxiliary

The December 10th meeting was well attended with 9 members present.

LuAnn Duvall was a guest at the meeting and presented information on the
restructured “VFW Auxiliary”.  Among many changes the Auxiliary is now open the
male members.  This does not affect the Men’s Auxiliary. Please see LuAnn if you are
looking for a much more detailed explanation of the changes.

The next Lucky 100 drawing will start on January 15th.  See Frank Connolly for
tickets.  They go fast!

The annual Christmas Party was held on December 5th and was a quite a success!
Over 100 people attended and had a great time.

After a long illness, one of our members, Mike Ginther, has passed away.  We
draped the Charter in his honor at the meeting.

The cooler in the hall has been replaced.  We purchased a new one for the Post
after the last meeting.  It’s up and running fine.

As is our custom, we voted to make several donations to the local community and
Veteran’s interests at the meeting.  Those getting donations were: The Erie Food
Bank, the USO and the Oaks of Righteousness homeless shelter in Monroe.

If you know someone interested in joining the Auxiliary, there are application forms
in the Kennedy Room, or please see President Dan Dusseau or contact him at (419)

Please go to for newsletters and other information and to review
the Post and Auxiliary newsletters for other upcoming events.
Our next meeting will be Thursday January 14th, 7:00pm at the Post home on Erie
Road.    Hope to see you there.

Respectfully submitted,

Dan Dusseau, President, VFW Post 3925 Men’s Auxiliary
