| May 2016
Our new officers were installed at the May meeting:
President Darlene Andrzejewski Chaplain Tammy Myer
Secretary Rose Sancrant
Sr. Vice Sharon Grodi Conductress Dawn Shock
Jr. Vice Richard Russell Guard Kathy Judy
Treasurer LuAnne DuVall 3rd yr. Trustee Marjorie Terry
These officers will be in effect at the next meeting in June.
We had a fund raising meeting at 6:00 before our regular meeting. We have 3
ideas in the works. A casino bus, another art and wine in August and our Craft
Show in October. Our Craft show was a big fund raiser for us last year and it was
the first one, so hopefully we will do even better this year. Crystal S. was our
chairman last year and cannot do it this year, but she got us off to a great start! We
will need lots of help with this fund raiser.
Val Brazeau ran a very successful Buddy Poppy campaign we will find out how well
at the next meeting.
Mary Joly, is working on the cards for the graduates to be distributed on May 19th
at the high school.
Sharon Grodi, Membership Chair, received a beautiful plaque from District 6 for
having 108 % in membership.
We had our memorial service for our deceased members and, draped the charter
for Blanche Main.
Please take note of these special dates:
• May 19th – Mason High School Graduates are recognized and Key chains and
awards will be passed out at that time.
• May 30th – Memorial Day. We will have a luncheon at the post following the
Grave side service by the post. Please bring a dish to pass.
The Department convention will be the first weekend in June. Please contact me or
Dawn Shock if you wish to attend.
Dawn Shock was installed as our new District President for the ensuing year.
Please congratulate her when you see her! So proud of you Dawn and how you
represent our Auxiliary!!
I want to thank all my officers and chairman who worked with me the past year.
You have all done such a great job!! Thanks to everyone who contributes to the
work we do. Big thanks to all the people who make food for funerals and events.
Thanks to LuAnne who passes on and helped to remind me of the reminders I need
to send. Couldn’t do it without you!! Thanks to everyone who has worked on
cleaning the hall and keeping it nice.
We have a wonderful Auxiliary and it has been a pleasure to work with such a
cheerful and friendly group!
Sincerely Marji Terry
