February 12, 2015

Hi everyone,
It was a privilege and an honor to fill in for Marji and conduct the auxiliary meeting
last night.  Thanks to all the ladies that came out to help make a difference in a
veteran’s life.  Everything we do will impact a veteran in some way or another. If
you haven’t done so yet, “Like” us on Facebook. We are: Erie VFW Post 3925 and its

The Charter was draped for our auxiliary sister, Ruth Turner.

We have two fund raisers going right now.  The quilt raffle and the penny raffle.
Please see Lu Anne for tickets as we need help selling the tickets.  A Vendor and
Craft Show is being planned for Oct. 17.  The next fund raising committee meeting
will be March 11 at 6:00 pm.  Please try to attend as we need your input.

Volunteers are needed to assist Marji on Community Days at Carson’s in Monroe.
The dates are Feb. 27 & 28.  Please call her at 734.735.7404.

Please mark your calendars for the Recognition Dinner, April 11, 6 pm.  Volunteers
are needed for set-up, cooking, clean-up, or just come out and support the
students/teachers as they receive their awards.  The two teachers we submitted
came in 1st and 2nd place in District 6.  They each received a check.

Jr. Girls will not be an Auxiliary program after this year.  Also, Cancer program is

buying some.

If you have any addresses of soldiers, please continue to update Kay with

April Killian is hoping more auxiliary members can make it to the VA Hospital in Ann
Arbor on April 9. We car pool, so you don’t have to drive.  If you have never been

A BIG thank you to Jan Locy for volunteering to bring the food for the March
