Dear Sisters,

We had our annual inspection last night with District 6 President Francine Herzog
accompanied by Nanette Spaulding, Dept. Americanism Chair and District 6
Secretary.  All chairman’s books were inspected and we passed all requirements.
Many thanks to our wonderful, hard-working ladies!

Kay Lynch asked that we report all activities specifically for veterans to her.  She has
a solider list of 9 names for you to send cards to or donate items for care packages.
Please keep the Campbell soup labels coming, 125 were just sent in to National
Home.

April Killian needs to know if you are volunteering at a hospital or nursing home for
her report.  Items are still needed for the VA Hospital trip 4/14. Veterans Voice
books are in the Kennedy Room for us to read/return/share.

Stephannie Cherry thanked everyone for donations of materials she recently
received.  Her husband, Jim, offered to raise the flag in her classroom.

Lorissa Elinski reported that the Silver dollar table at Fall Conference raised over
$1,080.00 to send kids to Camp Trotter.

Diane LaPlante has cancer pins available and the new cancer grant application. The
Postdoctoral Cancer Research Fellowship applications are available.

Dawn Shock turned in her scrapbook and indicated it is up-to-date as of Monday.
She proposed a resolution to change the by-laws to include great-grandchildren
when determining eligibility to the ladies auxiliary. This will be forwarded to district
for approval.

Marji Terry asked to report your conferring to politicians to her or copies of any
correspondence. The meet and greet with a representative from the Veterans
Administration was held last night.  All post members and public were invited to eat
with us and meet afterwards.  Marji also stated we made $593 on the casino trip!
Good job!

Sharon Grodi reported that we are short 1 person for 100%.  Please ask famiy
members and friends to join.  We will be participating in the November Round-up.
