Comrades,

We had 18 members at April’s meeting.  It was a pretty good turnout (maybe because we
had pizza afterwards).

Elections were held and all offices are filled.  Installation will be held at May’s meeting and
our new officers will officially take over when the state officers are installed on June 6th.
The new officers are as follows:      Commander; Terry Rollins      Sr. Vice; Dick
Brazeau            Jr. Vice; Tom Sancrante   Quartermaster;  Tom Merce    Chaplain; Roger
Williams  Post   Advocate; Chris Stark  Surgeon; Joe Joly and Trustees; Eddie Weaver, Don
Ellison and Floyd Martin.  A big thank you to everyone who stepped up to keep our post
running smoothly.

The Michigan Overseas Veteran (MOV) will go digital.  In the issue you got in the mail last
week on the back page it told you that if you want to keep getting the MOV in the mail to

mov@vfwmi.org make sure to include your name, address and post #.  To get it
electronically you can send your email address to the above email address or just read it off
of the MI VFW website.

The district meeting will be held at Mason Michigan on May 2nd.  I will be leaving around 10:
