Feb. 2016 Next meeting March 2, 2016
We had a pretty good turnout. There were 15 members present, 4 of them past
commanders. Terry Rollins provided an after meeting snack.
The annual muskrat dinner went exceptionally well. There were 150 people in attendance
with a number of door prizes given out. Other activities included, the raffle of a pig
graciously donated by Gary Wilmoth, a rifle raffle, and a silent auction.
All gun raffle tickets were sold. Congratulations to those who have won so far and good luck
to those still holding tickets.
Jacket selection for the Honor Detail has been made and will be presented to the post
during the March meeting for voting.
Chris Stark will be ordering the new 100 folding chairs in the near future. Once they arrive
a final decision will be made on the sale of the old chairs.
Keep Jim Lynch in your prayers as he recovers.
Tom Merce has embroidered Post ball caps for sale.
The wooden cane that Ed Simpson displayed during September is still available. If anyone
would like one made for them, contact Ed Weaver to see if you qualify for it.
District Testimonial is April 23rd in Mason.
